About Endangered Bodies

Endangered Bodies is an local-global initiative launched by the international Endangered Species summits in March 2011, held in London, New York, Buenos Aires, Sao Paulo and Melbourne.

We challenge the current toxic culture that promotes negative body image. Our aim is to save future generations of girls from the misery that turns women against their own bodies. We want YOU to be part of positive change and hear your ideas on how to create a body positive world.

As of April 2013, Endangered Bodies has chapters based out of London (also known as AnyBody), New York (via The Women's Therapy Center Institute), Buenos Aires (AnyBody Argentina), Ireland, Sao Paulo, Sydney (run by Body Matters Australasia), Germany (AnyBody Deutschland) and most recently, México

We are in the process of centralizing our international movement online under one unified website. At present, the London, New York, and Buenos Aires sites are active and we will be activating the other cities' sites over the next few months. In the meantime, please use our navigation bar above to connect to the other regions' provisional sites or their Facebook pages.

Much gratitude goes to the talented designers, programmers and managers from ThoughtWorks Social Impact Program, who have made our website a reality.
